User Name: zaphod
Character you wish to play: Zaphod Beeblebrox
Age: Around 35
Sex: Male
Custom Title: President of the [GALAXY]
Personality: Zaphod is hedonistic and irresponsible, self-centered almost to the point of solipsism, and often extremely insensitive to the feelings of those around him. He is of less than normal intelligence and very boorish. He is untrustworthy and often oblivious and absent-minded to most things (such as signing a form allowing Earth to be demolished). Zaphod also seems to be somewhat of a "playboy".
Appearance:
History: Zaphod is the part time President of the Galaxy, which might seem like a hard job, but the sad fact of the matter is he only took the job so that he could set himself up in a position where he could steal the Heart of Gold, which he promptly did as soon as the opportunity arose- saying he was "kiddnapping himself" and taking the Heart of Gold with him.
He and Tricia McMillan (which he calls "Trillian") found to their surprised that they had picked up some hitchhikers which were Arthut and Ford- who Zaphod reveals he is related to because they "share three of the same mothers". Zaphod also reveals that his intention is to visit the planet Magrathea using the Heart of Gold, which he stole for this purpose. He introduces the others to the story of the Ultimate Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything, via a Magrathean data archive cube.
They take a detour, however, when they encounter the planet of Viltvodle VI, home of the Jatravartids and Humma Kavula, who was Zaphod's opponent in the election for President of the Galaxy. Kavula has a small red cube that contains the coordinates to Magrathea, and offers it to Zaphod in exchange for a gun (the Point-of-view gun) that can be found near Deep Thought. Kavula requires a "hostage" in order to ensure that Zaphod will complete the quest, and removes Zaphod's second head (which is turned into a hula dancer bobblehead).
Arthur, Ford, and Zaphod then go to the Vogon homeworld and try to rescue Trillian. Upon stepping off their ship they briefly encounter subterraneous fauna that attack people who exhibit original thought by slapping them in the face, which they manage to evade once they reach an urban area. As Trillian is processed, she learns of the destruction of the Earth and that Zaphod was the one who absent-mindedly signed the demolition order for Earth (thinking it was an autograph request, he signed it "Love & Kisses, Zaphod"). Arthur, Zaphod, and Ford manage to fill out the appropriate Presidential Prisoner Release forms to have Trillian released just before she is fed to the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal. Then the crew escaped Vogsphere and headed to Magrathea.
On Magrathea, they find portals and Zaphod says he has "a hunch" about one and the others run into it, leaving Marvin and Arthur alone. Meanwhile, beneath Deep Thought, Zaphod, Trillian, and Ford find the Point-of-view gun, the object sought by Humma Kavula. Trillian uses it to make Zaphod understand her conflicting feelings about their relationship.
Once Zaphod and the others reunite with Arthur back at his house, they find that it is just a trap to get Arthur's brain which is believed to have the Ultimate Question in it. Once they escape the mice and the battalion of Vogons outside, Ford suggests that they go to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, which they immediately take off to.
Movie: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Character Quote: "If there's something more important that my ego on this ship I want it caught and shot now."
Sample RP: A man with shoulder-length blonde hair walked into the cafe, wearing large black sunglasses and a big carefree smile on his face. He seemed to wear the most outlandish clothes for a tourist, but he didn't seem to mind the stares he got. In fact, he quite enjoyed them. Well, for Zaphod, he thought he was just getting that stares for being so good-looking and for being the Galactic President.
He stopped by the counter, looking at all the food he could order, none of it looking the least bit familiar to him. Zaphod wasn't even sure if he had the right kind of money on this planet. "Hey, don't you have any "President of the Galaxy specials or something?" He asked, though the cashier only laughed and shook her head- thinking he was some kind of idiot. Zaphod, confused, wondered if he could get something free by giving an autograph to the woman, but decided against it and kept walking.
Nodding to the people as he walked by, he stopped at a random woman's table who was probably on a date, seated with another man."If this guy's boring you, I can show you my spaceship." Zaphod said with a grin, running his hand through his wavy hair. "I'm from another planet." He said dramatically, although he was speaking the truth. The woman at first looked insulted, then laughed and began to whisper to the man she was seated with. The man also began to laugh at Zaphod, who merely shrugged and said "Your loss". He sat down at another booth, looking out the window, wondering why people were laughing at him.
