They first fought off the white witch who made it a ice land, after that and the golden age it was a warm and nice place. when the telmarine's invaded narnia they killed and drove away the narnians. but some survived and fought 1300 years later with Caspian and the returned kings and queens of old against the telmarines. now under the rule of Caspian it once more is a peaceful land.
